Limbongan Maju
Limbongan Maju are the ferry company appointed by Johor Port Authority to run the short crossing between Changi in Singapore and Tanjung Belungkor in the south of Peninsula Malaysia.
The route has been running since early 2012 with the Bahtera Express and MV Falcon II ferries and currently runs twice daily in each direction during the week with increased frequency at weekends and on public holidays. Limbongan Maju ferries can carry up to 120 passengers per trip. Due to the short length of the crossing, facilities on board are limited.
The ferry terminal at Tanjung Belungkor was officially launched in 1993 and provides the ideal gateway to Desaru which is around fifteen minutes’ drive from the port. Desaru is popular destination in the region and attracts tourist from near and far.
Singapore Changi ferry terminal is located south east of the better known terminal at Changi Point and is a little further down the Changi coast road.
