Nador Sete Ferry reviews

  • "Very little customer information provided."

No signs indicating where to go or what to at the Genoa terminal.. No indication as to when and how to board ship. No signs on board advising restaurant opening hours.. A general lack of customer information.

Loved it! Won’t use Baleria or Trans ever again! Great value for money :))

  • "All well"

No problems at all. Arrived, was given the key for my cabin, travelled to the destination and got off! The cabin was fine, although a couple of things not working (the in cabin radio control, but I don’t know if there was even anything to listen to!) or open (it’s January!). Otherwise all fine, friendly crew, clean ship. The food is expensive, so it’s worth getting the food vouchers as you end up paying a bit less

Nador Guide

The city of Nador is located in the north east Rif region of Morocco on the Mediterranean Sea coast. It is also a port on the Bhar Amezzyan Lagoon which has made it an important trading centre for fish, fruit and livestock. Around 10 km to the north of Nador is the Spanish city of Melilla. The city has been ruled by a number of different civilisations during its history. The city is believed to have been founded by the Berber Civilisation and then ruled by the Phoenicians, the Romans and the Arabs. The city's name is believed to derive from the name "Has Nador" which is a small settlement near the lagoon. The city is a popular meeting place for expatriate Moroccans who go to the city to meet their relatives and is therefore an important source of income for the city. The city does not have many sights of particular interest, there are no pretty little ports or beach side restaurants, but it is still a popular destination for tourists who visit Nador to take in its traditional Riffian atmosphere.

Ferry services from Nador depart to Almeria and Motril in Spain and Sete in France.

Sete Guide

The French town of Sete lies on the cost of the Mediterranean Sea, around 30 km from Montpellier, and is sometimes referred to as the "Venice of Languedoc". The town's coastal and canal location is part of its charm and visitors to Sete will find a number of good restaurants, busy streets and visitor attractions to enjoy. If you head down to the St. Louis Pier you will be able to see yachts entering and leaving the harbour and fishing boats unloading the day's catch. The town was built on the sides of Mont St. Clair, between the Thau Lagoon, the Sea and the canals, and is one of the largest ports on the Mediterranean Sea coast. In Sete, there is a lovely mixture of scents from the Sea and the garrigue (Mediterranean scrubland) in the air.

From the town's port, ferries depart to Nador, Tangler Med and Barcelona.
