If it’s the Dutch capital you want to travel to, DFDS provide a service from Newcastle across to Amsterdam, with the journey duration lasting around 15 and a half hours. Further south down the east coast of England, Stena Line offer ferries between Harwich and the Hook of Holland with a 7 hour sailing time.
