P&O’s North Sea ferries sail between Hull and Rotterdam in the Netherlands, as well as Hull and Zeebrugge in Belgium. These trips take approximately 10 hours 45 minutes and 13 hours 15 minutes, respectively.

If it’s the Dutch capital you want to travel to, DFDS provide a service from Newcastle across to Amsterdam, with the journey duration lasting around 15 and a half hours. Further south down the east coast of England, Stena Line offer ferries between Harwich and the Hook of Holland with a 7 hour sailing time.
