Sanur Guide

What is there to do in Sanur?

Bali has arguably become the number one holiday destination across the globe; the breathtaking landscape, gorgeous beaches and famous nightlife has skyrocketed the island into worldwide prominence. Found on the southern tip of Bali, Sanur is one of the quieter parts of the island, appealing to families with the limpid beaches and resorts drenched in high class amenities. The beaches remain fairly quiet throughout the year; Sanur Beach and Sindhu Beach both supply a tranquil experience in the company of natural greenery and verdant trees. The busiest Sanur gets is the main street, JI Danau Tamblingan. In the height of summer it brims with tourists and locals meandering around the shops, cafes and restaurants. Whilst in the vicinity, it is almost compulsory to sample some of the local cuisine at the fine restaurants, with seafood typically served fresh from the waters.

How do you get around Sanur?

Car, motorbike and bicycle hire is rife in the main street, offering fairly affordable prices. Despite the relatively cheap prices, the town is quite small so walking is a viable option for travel.
