Varberg, much like many Swedish towns, is an underrated gem obscured by more prominent tourist destinations in Scandinavia; an affable atmosphere engulfs the elegant architecture and a striking landscape defines the town. Symbolising the natural beauty of Varberg is the bathhouse by the waterfront, allowing visitors to bask in the relaxing spas and saunas whilst revelling in the fresh breeze from the sea. To truly rejoice in the rejuvenating nature of the water, embark on a windsurfing expedition spanning from one of the most respected surf centres in Sweden. The wellbeing and fitness aspect of the spas and the surrounding landscape is representative of Varberg; the town used to be a health resort back in the 1800s, and it is still viewed as somewhere to cleanse the toxins and come for a refresher.
