Village Bay Guide

What is there to do in Village Bay?

Incredible scenery, glorious views and a sea of tranquillity – there aren’t many more peaceful places on Earth than Village Bay. Adrenaline fuelling activities are available on both land and water; cycling and hiking are the two primary pastimes for those who love traversing the terrain either on two wheels or on two feet, whilst swimming and boating are popular with visitors and locals longing to explore the surrounding water. Some keen pleasure boaters can set up camp around Miners Bay and Saturna Island, waking up early to make the most of the pristine ocean. The settlement may be famous for its array of challenging walking trails and serene coastline, however, there is plenty on offer for those who prefer to take life a little slower. The Rest Q Sanctuary is a haven for abandoned animals, proving to be the perfect family day out, and continuing the family theme, Cobworks is an educational centre for recreational skills. If you’re lucky enough to visit Village Bay at the right time of year, you can witness some of the community and cultural events, such as the dog show or the series of Christmas fairs.

How do you get around Village Bay?

The settlement is very small and can be covered almost entirely by foot.
