Wallaroo Guide

What is there to do in Wallaroo?

Marrying traditional values of an old, industrial town with the attractions and features you’d typically associate with a seaside resort, Wallaroo has a quiet charm that is rarely seen around the coast of Australia. Symbolising the industrial background are the abundance of grain silos that impose themselves across the skyline as a reminder to the history of Wallaroo. For further education into Wallaroo’s past, head to the Heritage and Nautical Museum that denotes a wide range of archaic artefacts, allowing visitors to explore the exhibitions at their own leisure. Many who visit Wallaroo do so for the historical background, however, an increasing number of tourists do so because of the quaint scenery and laid back atmosphere which has transformed the town into a pleasant seaside resort. Most choose to take a stroll along the quiet beaches before stopping for a refreshing beverage at one of the welcoming cafes that line the shore.

How do you get around Wallaroo?

Wallaroo is fairly small so much of it can be covered almost entirely by foot.
