Swansea Cork Ferries

Swansea Cork Ferries ceased operating at the end of the 2006 season.
The decision came about after Swansea Cork Ferries could not find a replacement for its ship the MV Superferry (see related Ferry News).

Numerous hopes have been raised that others (other that Swansea Cork Ferries) will restart the service and this has been fuelled by continuous statements from the Port of Cork that they are in discussion with different parties to restart the service.

Whilst it was hopeful that a service would be running in 2009, it now appears more likely that it will restart in 2010.

In the mean time, alternative routes are available with Irish Ferries and Stena Line with crossings from Pembroke and Fishguard to Rosslare. Please click on the route links to the right of this page for more information and booking.
